The Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has leaned that there are some people or entities  that impersonate its officers and call expatriate employees demanding money to be sent to specific accounts, in exchange for not taking legal action agains them.

The LMRA hereby announces that is does not collect money from employees regardless of their legal status, furthermore any and all monetary claims are demanded via an official invoice sent to the employers legal address, and that all invoices are settled though our banks within the kingdom of Bahrain and not abroad.

While the LMRA strongly condemns these criminal actions, it urges anyone who receives such calls not to respond to their demands, and for further confirmation in such cases to call the Hotline at 17506055.
