The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chief Executive Ausamah Al Absi on Saturday inaugurated its new office at the Bahrain International Airport.
The new office will help finalising visa procedures for expatriate workers at the airport on arrival.
The LMRA had launched its excellent electronic system in 2007 which facilitates its services for employers and manpower agencies by entering data to obtain feedback and easy processing for the best interest of citizens and migrant workers.
“Employers and processing and clearance agencies can finalise the whole process of an application from A to Z from the comfort of their office or at home and obtain migrant workers’ labour permits within ten days through system, Mr.Al Absi said.
“The system features speedy and easy services which is an added value to the Kingdom’s eGovernment services in terms of transparency, creativity and competitiveness,“ he added.
