Manama, May 15 (BNA) — labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) received, yesterday, an international expert delegation in the field of technical and vocational education, who were accompanied with the director of the Center for Excellence in Technical and Vocational Education Dr. Salah Al-Hamad.Director of the Political Development Directory Nidhal Al-Bana’ briefed the visiting delegation on the steps and policies followed to enhance the role of the private sector, he added the LMRA’s policies aim at furnishing the labor market with the qualified and skilled foreign labor in line with the international standards.
The delegation was informed on the procedures and services the LMRA provides to the labor and business owners, in addition to the procedures followed to observe and analyze market information.
The delegation, which includes international experts concern with providing vocational training programs to technical school students, is visiting Bahrain currently to be familiar with the skills needed for the Bahraini labor to agree with the labor market requirements.
On their part, the delegation’s members commended the advanced system followed by LMRA which aims to enter comprehensive reforms in the labor market for the development of the national human resources.
