Bahraini and US officials yesterday reached a preliminary agreement on sharing the knowledge and experience of Bahraini and US experts in the fields of employment and training.
Ecomagination from GE – with innovation, there will be more clean water for everyone Under the agreement, Bahrainis will seek the assistance of US experts in developing competence in the areas of social dialogue, groups disputes, health and occupational safety, while American officials will take advantage of the expertise of Bahrain’s LMRA.

This agreement was reached yesterday during a meeting between Minister of Labour Dr. Majeed bin Mohsen Al Alawi and a delegation of US officials.

The two sides discussed several labour issues and reviewing the progress that has been made in implementing the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed in 2006.
