THE Peoples Forum, comprising a group of migrant Indian workers in Bahrain, will hold its annual get-together on Friday at 6.30pm at the South Park Restaurant, Gudaibiya.

Members of the newly-elected executive committee for this year will also be inducted.

Indian Embassy first secretary A Ajay Kumar will be chief guest at the event.

Guests of honour will include Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) e-services and public relations manager Waheed Al Balushi, Strategic Publicity and Advertising Company chairman P Unnikrishnan and Co-ordination Committee of Indian Associations chairman John Iype.

The Ladies and Children’s wing of the forum will present a variety of cultural programmes.

The meeting will also focus on educating members on LMRA guidelines and procedures, accident insurance benefits provided by the New India Assurance Company and the insurance and pension schemes for non-resident Indians offered by the Kerala government, said forum secretary-general Anil Kumar Pillai.
